Réveillon de Noël en 🇧🇬 Bulgarie

Bulgarian Christmas Eve (Badni vecher) on December 24th features the laying of a meatless table with 7 or 9 dishes including stuffed vine leaves and tikvenik (pumpkin pastry); the eldest breaks a special loaf (pitka).

The evening of December 24 preceding Christmas Day, observed with festive traditions including church midnight masses, family gatherings, carol singing, and the giving of gifts.
