主顕節(Epiphany) の エチオピア
Ethiopia's Timkat (Epiphany) on January 19th is one of the most spectacular Orthodox Christian celebrations; priests carry tabots (replicas of the Ark of the Covenant) to water for a blessing ceremony, with vibrant processions.
概要 主顕節(Epiphany)
Christian feast on January 6 celebrating the manifestation of Jesus to the Gentiles as represented by the Magi (Three Wise Men), observed with church services, gift-giving in some cultures, and the Twelfth Night.
