🥮 Mooncakes for Mid-Autumn

起源: East Asia

Mooncakes are dense, pastry-encased confections traditionally exchanged and eaten during the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. Filled with lotus seed paste, red bean, salted egg yolk, or fruit, they are imprinted with auspicious characters or floral patterns and given as gifts to family and business associates. The circular shape symbolises family reunion and the full moon that marks the festival's peak.
