🎆 Guy Fawkes Bonfire Night

Nguồn gốc: Europe

On 5 November, communities across the United Kingdom light large bonfires and watch fireworks displays to commemorate the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, in which Guy Fawkes and co-conspirators planned to blow up the Houses of Parliament. Effigies of Guy Fawkes are traditionally burned atop the bonfires, and toffee apples, parkin cake, and sparklers are sold at fairgrounds. The tradition was once mandated by law and is now Britain's largest annual pyrotechnic celebration.
