🐉 Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu) falls on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month. It honors the poet Qu Yuan with dragon boat races, eating zongzi (sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves), and hanging mugwort. It is a three-day public holiday in China.
