🌸 Nowruz Community Gathering

Nowruz, the Persian New Year celebrated on the spring equinox, brings together families and communities across Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia, and diaspora populations worldwide for a two-week period of house visits, outdoor picnics, and cultural performances. The holiday transcends national and religious boundaries, observed by Muslims, Zoroastrians, Bahais, and secular communities alike. UNESCO inscribed Nowruz on the Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2009, recognising its extraordinary multicultural reach.
